Fun fact: The state of New Jersey adopted a resolution to recognize Juneteenth before the nation at large, so our state offices are closed "for Juneteenth" consistently on the third Friday of June. This means that state and federal services may be closed "for Juneteenth" on different days. This is not a major inconvenience for anybody.
